Mix music from your iTunes library or stream popular tracks and discover unknown gems through Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+. If you’re just starting to mix, WeDJ for iPhone now features Tutorial and Pop-Hint functions to teach you the basics. Beatport LINK is a streaming service for DJs that makes Beatport’s extensive electronic music catalog available to stream audio (AAC 128kbps and 256 kbps quality) into LINK subscription enabled devices. Subscribers can also play tracks from their existing collection and purchase any tracks they want to. Searching Beatport's library through WeDJ is fucking awful and very slow. Very hard to find the right track and no options to filter by genre or artist. Just have to input keywords and pray the track/artist you're searching for has a unique name. Beatport LINK is now available in WeDJ. Here are a few tips for getting started:

Beatport Link is a music streaming subscription service for DJs that lets you access the Beatport catalogue inside your DJ software (currently WeDJ and Rekor. Connect Beatport LINK to WeDJ

  1. Download WeDJ (iOS only) from the App Store0003
  2. Click Track Title on top of Deck 1/Deck 20003
  3. Select Beatport from the source icon at the bottom left0003of the screen0003
  4. Enter your Beatport credentials with an active Beatport LINK Subscription0003
  5. On successful login, you will be able to access the Beatport Catalog

Searching the Beatport Catalog in WeDJ

  1. Enter the track name, label or artist in the top Search Box
  2. Select the track from the Beatport Catalog search results
  3. Load into the one of the Decks and you are ready to play

Discover our playlists

Beatport has created hundreds of custom playlists for you to DJ with. Load any of our playlists into WeDJ with these simple steps:

  1. Go to Beatport.com and log in.
  2. Go to the Beatport Playlist page and click on the playlist you would like to add.
  3. Click “Save To Library” to add the entire playlist to your library, or click “Add To Playlist” to add it to an existing playlist.
  4. Go back to WeDJ and refresh the Beatport directory.
  5. The playlist will appear in WeDJ under Beatport > Playlists.
  6. You can add or remove any tracks from this playlist from the “My Library > Playlists” section of Beatport.com.

Create your own playlists

It’s easy to create and update your own custom playlists. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Login to Beatport.com.
  2. Find a track that you would like to start your playlist with and click the down arrow next to the price.
  3. Click “Create a playlist” to start a new playlist, or “Add to playlist” to add to an existing playlist.
  4. For new playlists, enter a name and click “Save”.
  5. If adding to an existing playlist, check the box next to each playlist that you want the track added to.
  6. You can view your playlists by clicking the “My Library” icon in the top bar, next to your cart.
  7. From here, you can edit your playlists by changing their names, or by adding or removing tracks.
  8. Once you’ve built your playlist, go back to WeDJ.
  9. Refresh the “Beatport” directory within the WeDJ browser and your playlist will appear.
