Dyrii was born out of the struggle between two contrasting ideas: a) allowing users to bring their own storage vs. B) taking over the ownership of providing and managing the storage for the user. Being an avid journal user myself, I need the assurance that I own and control my journals and not anybody else. Dyrii is more than just a journal. You may think of it as a time capsule of all your memories and activities. The tool lets you write privately instead of on social media. You can capture photos, audio, and video on the go. Furthermore, you can automatically log all the places you visit in a day and keep notes on your health and mood.

SUMMARY

Most journals apps differ from Dyrii because they can access, scan and read your files. We use Apple's iCloud for data storage and sync, which ensures we cannot read your data.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE

Dyrii App utilized Google's Firebase and Crashlytics service to report any bug affecting our Apps. If the app crashes during normal use, the app will send certain information about the incident to Crashlytics as applicable. This information consists of the device type, OS version and certain hardware information about your mobile device, and the time of the crash, the state of the application at the time of the crash, and stack traces. The information does not include your IP address or any other information that could be used to identify you or your mobile device individually, and does not include any other information from your mobile device. Dyrii uses Intercom, Inc. ('Intercom') service for Customer Relationship Management to help understand your usage of our services. In particular, we provide a limited amount of your information (such as your email address and signup date) to Intercom and utilize Intercom to collect data for analytics purposes when you visit our website or use our product. Intercom analyzes your use of our website and/or product and tracks our relationship so that we can improve our service to you. We may also use Intercom as a medium for communications, either through email, or through messages within our product. Dyrii App may also collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of device you use, tokens identifying your device (for the purpose of sending push notifications to enable background syncing), your operating system, your IP address, aggregated and anonymous statistics about the app usage and crashes.

We never share your personal data, including your email address, with outside third parties. DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFER

All journal entires ('Data') you create in Dyrii Apps are stored locally on your device. Dyrii Apps allow you to optionally sync your Data with your Apple iCloud account. Your Data is never stored on any of our servers.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our website is a general audience site that does not target and is not intended for children under the age of 13. Dyrii does not knowingly solicit or maintain personal information pertaining to children under the age of 13.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
